Ian's interest in art started in grade school then high school, leading to study at Sheridan College  -  initially in animation,  followed by illustration and design .

Once graduated with a degree/diploma in Illustration (Interpretive option), Ian held a variety of positions including  Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and Art Director for over 27 years.

He  started his own Illustration and Design company in 1993 and continues to enjoy numerous subject matters from figure to landscape, attempting to capture a special moment.
