Lee Angold is a botanical and scientific illustrator based in Kitchener-Waterloo, Canada. Working primarily in watercolour, graphite and ink, Lee creates impactful art pieces that incorporate strong colour and texture into intimate, detailed illustrations of botanical and natural science subjects, drawing the viewer in for a closer look into even the most mundane subjects.

In 2018, Lee completed the Daily Leaf, a self-initiated botanical art project in which she collected a leaf outdoors every day, mapped it’s location and illustrated it.

Lee is the president of the Botanical Artists of Canada and a co-founder of the KW Artists Co-op, a unique co-operative shared studio/workspace in midtown KW.
